The temple has set up a QR code payment transaction point where merit-seekers can make donations via PromptPay, the government's promoted e-payment system. In light of this, the temple sought advice from a bank, which recommended trying out the use of QR code payment for receiving donations. After consulation with senior clergy, the temple tested the QR code payment system at its recent annual fair, the monk said.
